Western Australia’s leading car and truck rental company, Thrifty WA has expanded its WA network with the opening of its latest branch in Onslow.
Onslow is the 17th Thrifty branch in Western Australia, reaffirming its commitment to the Pilbara. It also highlights Thrifty WAs confidence in the economic potential of regional WA.
The new branch will support the 16 other Thrifty WA branches throughout the State, especially in the Pilbara region, and will capitalize on Onslow’s proximity to Chevron’s Wheatstone Project, along with the existing gas and minerals production facilities in the area.
Thrifty WA Chief Executive Officer Richard Simons, said that the company was dedicated to expanding its operations in the Pilbara region, and a full range of fleet options including cars, utes, trucks, buses, and 4 wheel drives will be offered onsite, along with windscreen, tyre and battery replacement and mechanical servicing.
“We are committed to an ongoing program of capital investment throughout regional WA, and look forward to our continued collaboration with the Shire of Ashburton, the energy and mining companies operating in the region, the construction and service sector that support them and the Onslow community, to ensure Thrifty WA continues to deliver on our promise of flexible, safe and innovative services,” he said.
“Our dedicated team in Onslow will offer the full range of Thrifty WA’s passenger and commercial vehicles, including fleet supply of mine equipped and work ready vehicles, (including the new ANCAP 5 star rated 4X4’S) which will support our existing Pilbara branches in Karratha, Port Hedland, Newman and Paraburdoo. We will also be able to support and maintain our client’s vehicles in our own dedicated workshop facilities in Onslow.”
