Customers looking for a fuel-efficient yet full-sized car on their next Thrifty car rental can now choose from two new fleet additions.
The Hyundai i45 and the Subaru Liberty both benefit from the space and luggage storage of a large car, with the fuel-efficiency that comes from a four-cylinder vehicle.
Thrifty Car Rental Fleet Manager Andrew Tyson said: “The i45 also has a myriad of cutting edge technologies to make the driving experience more enjoyable. It features front, side and curtain airbags as standard, as well as advanced seatbelt reminders.
“The Liberty has at its heart a 2.5 litre Boxer engine, producing an impressive 123kW of power and 220Nm of torque. Step inside and you’ll find a 6-stack in-dash single CD player, dual zone climate control air-conditioning and rear parking camera built-in.
“Not only are both cars enjoyable to drive, spacious and economical, but they also have the maximum 5-star ANCAP safety rating we expect from our fleet of vehicles at Thrifty.”
The Subaru Liberty and the Hyundai i45 are available in the ‘FCAR’ class of vehicles. Vehicles previously in the FCAR class are now available under the FSAR car class.
